Soft Fog by carolthompson Soft Fog by carolthompson
"When the weather is just right, a low layer of soft fog drifts around the base of cliffs that extend out into the ocean."

Artist Comments: "It has always been a fascination to me to watch the fog over the sea. In this painting I chose to depict the fog bank that is slowly drifting across the surface of the water to quietly conceal the base of the cliffs. I rendered the scene in cool grey tones to further the feeling of a chilly winter day."
