Artist Comments: "Birds need to groom. Their feathers are their very 'life-line'. I always travel with my camera at-the-ready to capture interesting subjects to paint. Here a seagull, oblivious to all outside distractions, is preparing its body for another flight over the bay in its never-ending quest for food."
